Do you want to get a sneak peek into what happens behind the scenes of a major live music event? 🎧 Now’s your chance!
EMW 2025 is looking for young volunteers from ages 12 and up like you to help make it an unforgettable experience. Whether you want to see what it’s like to work backstage, get involved with organizing events, or just experience the thrill of live music, this is your opportunity to dive in and get hands-on experience in the music industry!

The main event runs from 22nd to 25th May, including preparation time in March and April, and we’d love for you to be a part of it!

EMW Rising Star Showcase
Calling all musically gifted youth and young at heart! The EMW Rising Star Showcase is a talent night for the Estonian-Canadian community. It takes place on Tuesday May 13 at 7:00PM at Under the Alpine (2872 Dundas Street West, Toronto) and hosted by Erik Laar. Participants must be unsigned musical artists from any musical genre and will receive a modest honorarium. A panel of judges will choose a winner who gets to perform as part of the Külasimman at EMW 2025 and open up for a mainstage artist at EMW 2027.

Tickets to cheer on your next Esto superstar will be available next month.
Village Party
On the last day of the festival (May 25) the Külasimman aka village party, a free block party style event, will get everyone participating in Estonian cultural activities. Music, crafts market, food, drinks, singing, DJ workshops, dancing and more! Mark your calendar, a call for artisan craft makers, dancers and choristers coming soon.
